What is Livity?

Livity is a preventive physician service that helps you take control of your health through personalized health advice, health screenings, medical tests and regular follow-ups. Our Livity doctors give you tailored advice based on your health status, goals and risk profile.

Who is Livity fit for?

Livity is for anyone from 18 to 130 years old who wants to live a healthy and happy life, as well as prevent lifestyle and age-related diseases. Livity can help you:

  • Get a thorough overview of your health
  • Make small or big changes for better health and energy
  • Prevent illness and monitor health over time
  • Optimizing your health with data and technology (biohacking, longevity)
  • Slow down the aging process and improve your biological age
What does a health mapping at Livity involve?

Livity is your personal life doctor — a holistic preventive health service that helps you understand, improve and follow up your health over time.

  1. Mapping: You start with a digital health survey where we learn about your lifestyle, health history and motivation.
  2. Tests: You take relevant tests -- such as a blood test or other medical measurements -- adapted to your situation.
  3. Analysis: Our physicians and digital platform analyzes your responses and test results to create a holistic health profile.
  4. Personal plan: You will receive a concrete and personalized health plan and recommendations
  5. Follow-up: We follow you up regularly and adjust your plan as your body and needs change.
Is there anything special I need to prepare when I have been told to take blood tests?

You will be told by your doctor if you are going to have blood tests. You do not need to fast before the blood tests. If you are taking a metabolic medicine, we recommend that you wait to take the medicine until after your blood tests are taken that day.

When you show up for your class, pull a cue and wait until it's your turn. Calculate between 30-45 minutes. You only need to bring your ID and provide your social security number.

What equipment and information is needed to take the health examination?

To take the health examination you need:

  • Optional equipment: Image, weight, height, tape measure to measure your life span (or thread and ruler), blood pressure (if measured last 8 weeks) and heart rate monitor.
  • Information: Illness in close family (grandparents, parents, uncles/aunts, siblings), own illnesses, medications, supplements and allergies

Examples of diseases for close family: type 2 diabetes, dementia, obesity, blood clots, stroke, high cholesterol, asthma, metabolic disease, autoimmune diseases, celiac disease, rheumatism, chronic intestinal diseases, glaucoma (glaucoma) and various cancers.

In case of cancer: Please state the type of cancer and how old the person concerned was when they were diagnosed. This information is important to assess any hereditary risk.

How do I access the Livity portal?

Once you have taken your health examination and medical tests, one of our Livity doctors will review them to give you a thorough overview of your health and personalized health advice. You will receive an SMS when the results are ready in the Livity portal which you can find here: https://app.livity.no/

Can I give Livity as a gift?

Yay! You can buy a gift card at Livity and give it to someone you care about. They can use the gift card in the payment process after they have completed the health survey. A gift that actually makes a difference — for you and the people you love. You can buy the gift card here.

Is Livity offered across the country?

As of today, we offer medical tests (such as blood tests) only in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Sandefjord through our partners. If you live outside these areas, you can still use Livity for health mapping, digital consultations and get personalized recommendations — but some tests may be unavailable or require your own organization. We are working to expand the offer to more cities and will inform you when it becomes available where you live.

Is Livity part of the public health care system, or a liability for it?

Livity is not part of the public health care system -- but neither are we a liability. We act as a preventive supplement.

While health care needs to prioritize those who are already sick, we'll help you before it gets serious. We map risks, provide you with an overview and support you in making small, smart choices that can prevent disease. That way we relieve health care, not burden it.

How much does it cost to use Livity?

Prices vary depending on the services you choose. We offer various packages and subscription solutions. For more information, visit our price page or contact us directly.

Where can I take blood tests and other medical tests?

Livity cooperates with several players in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Sandefjord. If you are advised to take any medical tests or tests, we will give you detailed instructions on where and when you can take them. We are also working to expand the offer to more locations.

What differentiates Livity from other healthcare services?

Livity focuses on preventive health and personalised interventions. We use advanced technology combined with doctor consultations to give you a complete overview of your health and help you take action before health problems arise.

How does Livity protect my health information?

We take privacy and data security seriously. Livity complies with all GDPR and privacy rules for the processing of health data. All information is stored securely in an approved medical record system that is accessible only to you and your Livity physician.

Is Livity a replacement for my GP?
